Question: I’ve heard there’s a new diagnosis code coming out for patients with vaping-related conditions. Is that true? Delaware Subscriber Answer: You are correct that The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced recently that a new ICD-10-CM code for vaping-related conditions will go into effect on April 1, 2020. For any and all claims that involve a vaping-related condition beginning on or after April 1, 2020, you may report the following ICD-10-CM code:
