Two Sets of X-rays?

Question: Can we charge for two sets of x-rays when a fracture is reduced in the office?

Debbie Pelaso

Answer: Typically, x-rays used during a surgical procedure to verify placement are considered bundled into the procedure. Confirming the correct bone placement after reducing a fracture in the office would be considered bundled under this rule, and should not be billed separately.
