Question: Our surgeon documented an arthroscopic capsular plication, but I cannot find a code for this service in CPT. Would you advise?

Answer: During arthroscopic capsular plication, the surgeon uses sutures to tighten loose structures due to shoulder instability. You should report 29806 (Arthroscopy, shoulder, surgical; capsulorrhaphy) for this procedure.
