Answer: Use 27607 (Incision [e.g., osteomyelitis or bone abscess], leg or ankle) in addition to 27601 (Decompression fasciotomy, leg; posterior compartment[s] only). Append modifier -51 (Multiple procedures) to 27607 if your carrier recognizes it.
