Where are the fees for optometrist's services going next year - up or down? Keeping track of whether you are receiving accurate reimbursements from your carriers just got easier. Use this chart to be sure your carrier adheres to the 2005 fee schedule beginning Jan. 1.
Note: The reimbursement is calculated by multiplying the nonfacility RVUs for a procedure by the conversion factor (37.3374 in 2004, 37.8975 in 2005). The figures are rounded and are not adjusted for geographic region.
