Answer: When ICD-10-CM is implemented, you will submit diagnosis code A63.0 (Anogenital [veneral] warts) for the diagnosis of anogenital warts. This code is a direct match for the ICD-9-CM code 078.11 (Condyloma acuminatum). It is just the code descriptor that changes for ICD-10-CM. The terms condylomata acuminata, venereal warts, anal warts and anogenital warts are used interchangeably.
