A reader question in the November 2002 edition of Oncology Coding Alert titled "Pre-Meds" contained a typographical error. For each additional hour of infusion, code 90782 was listed instead of +90781. The correct code reference is +90781 (Intravenous infusion for therapy/diagnosis, administered by physician or under direct supervision of physician; each additional hour, up to eight [8] hours).
