Question: Has anyone had any experience with billing for donor breast milk? South Carolina Subscriber Answer: For plans who pay for this, you would report T2101 (Human breast milk processing, storage and distribution only). The reimbursement for the donor human milk is equal to the fee on the durable medical equipment (DME) fee schedule on the corresponding date of service, according to the Louisiana Department of Health (URL: https://ldh.la.gov/assets/docs/BayouHealth/Informational_Bulletins/2021/IB21-01.pdf), but keep in mind that other Medicaid programs may have different information.
