Can you bill for the administration?Idaho SubscriberAnswer: You should report four units of J2675 (Injection, progesterone, per 50 mg) with a quantity of 4 to represent 200 mg. For the administration, you should use the normal therapeutic IM code 96372 (Therapeutic, prophylactic, or diagnostic injection [specify substance or drug]; subcutaneous or intramuscular). Beware: You should not bill 99211 (Office or other outpatient visit for the E/M of an established patient ...) in addition.
