CORRECTION

In the Ob-Gyn Coding Alert 2011, Vo.14, No. 5 on page 30, there is an error with the Reader Question entitled "Tack Modifier 52 Onto 58563 In This Scenario." The answer is incorrect as to what procedure you should bill. The correct CPT® code is 58565-52 (Hysteroscopy, surgical; with bilateral fallopian tube cannulation to induce occlusion by placement of permanent implants; Reduced services) for the failed Essure procedure.
