Exception 2: If the test is automated and screens for visual acuity, report 0333T (Visual evoked potential, screening of visual acuity, automated, with report). Best bet: If you have any doubt as to the purpose of the VEP test, check with the provider if possible. Also, you can check with the payer to see if you should consider an alternative to 95930 for your claim.
