This code does not specifically differentiate the anatomic location. However, you may check with your provider for this code before you report. For lumbosacral plexitis, you report 353.1 (Lumbosacral plexus lesions). The ICD-9 codebook includes a specific "Excludes" guideline if the lumbosacral plexus lesion is due to intervertebral disc disorders, spondylosis and/or vertebrogenic conditions.
