Question: Can we bill bilaterally for 64613 and 64614?Florida Subscriber Answer: According to the 2012 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule Database, the bilateral indicator for 64613 (Chemodenervation of muscle[s]; neck muscle[s] [eg, for spasmodic torticollis, spasmodic dysphonia]) and 64614 (Chemodenervation of muscle[s]; extremity[s] and/or trunk muscle[s] [eg, for dystonia, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis]) has been changed back to "1" meaning that the services can be billed bilaterally.
