Correction:
Use Q3025, Not J Code, for Avonex

The June 2003 edition of Neurology Coding Alert incorrectly stated that the appropriate supply code for Avonex is J1825 ("Don't Charge E/M With Injection," page 46). In fact, a Medicare Part B update dated April 1, 2003, says to report Avonex using supply code Q3025 (Injection, interferon beta-1A) for all claims filed after April 1, 2003.
