Most excluded markets have less than 400 CJR eligible volumes. Under the Comprehensive Care for Joint Replacement (CJR) Model for Acute Care Hospitals Furnishing Lower Extremity Joint Replacement Services Final Rule, the selected metropolitan statistical areas (MSAs) decreased from 75 (proposed) to 67, due to a change in MSA selection criteria.
