QPP First Snapshots of 2022 Are Up for Perusal
See if your stats meet the eligibility requirements. If you want to check your APM status for the first three months of performance year (PY) 2022, the data is available on the Quality Payment Program (QPP) participation portal. On July 8, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) updated the first snapshot of PY 2022 for the Alternative Payment Model (APM) side of the QPP for qualifying participants. “The first snapshot includes data from Medicare Part B claims with dates of service between January 1, 2022 and March 31, 2022,” CMS says in an alert on the update. “The tool includes 2022 Qualifying APM Participant (QP) status and Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) APM participation status.” Login with your National Provider Identifier (NPI) to check your status at https://qpp.cms.gov/participation-lookup.
