See Feds International Efforts to Improve Health Data Exchange

Over the last year, the feds have maintained a steady stream of policies to improve care coordination, data sharing, and health IT. Now, they want to increase global interoperability, too.

Details: In a recent blog post, the HHS Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) reported its efforts to work with other countries to enhance the patient experience at its 3rd Interoperability Forum in Washington D.C. this past summer. The global health IT leaders focused on three main issues at the conference: global interoperability, common data standards between nations, and pro-patient policies.
