MIPS 2017 Targeted Review Deadline Now Oct. 15
If you aren’t satisfied with your Merit-Based Incentive Payment Systems (MIPS) performance results for 2017 that impact your 2019 Part B pay, you still have time to address any errors. Reminder: Providers, who submitted data for the reporting payment year, can now review their MIPS scores and performance information on the Quality Payment Program (QPP) website. If a clinician feels an error has been made that changes future payments, he or she can request a targeted review. The deadline has been extended to Oct. 15, 2018 at 8:00 PM EDT. Part B practices can go to the QPP website, login and review data as well as request a targeted review through the Enterprise Identity Management (EIDM) portal with their EIDM credentials, notes CMS guidance on the subject.
