Looking for some first hand insight on what’s going on inside the HHS Office of Inspector General? If you’re part of the west coast health care provider community, mark your calendar for April 11 — that’s when the OIG is hosting its third regional town hall meeting.
The town hall meetings are designed to provide a forum for OIG senior staffers to meet face-to-face with the provider community. OIG reps will talk about the functions of the agency and answer questions about its work and future plans. The gathering for Regions IX and X will take place April 11 at the San Francisco Civic Center Complex at 455 Golden Gate Avenue in San Francisco. The meeting’s scheduled to last from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30.
The OIG conducted its first two town halls, for Regions I and VI, in Dallas and Boston. Regional meetings for other parts of the country will take place in the coming months.
Audience size is limited for the San Francisco meeting, so if you’re in Region IX or X and are interested in attending, e-mail the following information to oigspeaks@oig.hhs.gov or fax it to 202-260-8512: name/title, organization, organization address, telephone number, e-mail address or fax number. Attendees who need disability access and/or special accommodations should make a note of it.
