H.R. 1301. A bill to amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act to provide payment to Medicare ambulance suppliers of the full costs of providing such services. Introduced March 17 by Rep. Amo Houghton (R-NY), referred to the Committee on Energy and Commerce and the Committee on Ways and Means.

H.R. 1340. A bill to amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act to expand and improve coverage of mental health services under the Medicare program. Introduced March 18 by Rep. Pete Stark (D-CA), referred to the Committee on Ways and Means and the Committee on Energy and Commerce. H.R. 1351. A bill to amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act to increase payments under the Medicare program to Puerto Rico hospitals. Introduced March 19 by Rep. The following Senate bills were introduced:

S. 632. A bill to amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act to expand coverage of medical nutrition therapy services under the Medicare program for beneficiaries with cardiovascular disease. Introduced March 17 by Sen. Larry Craig (RWY), referred to the Committee on Finance.

S. 636. A bill to amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act to provide for a permanent increase in Medicare payments for home health services that are furnished in rural areas. Introduced March 17 by Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME), referred to the Committee on Finance.

S. 653. A bill to amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act to increase payments under the Medicare program to Puerto Rico hospitals. Introduced March 18 by Sen. Rick Santorum (R-PA), referred to the Committee on Finance.

S. 654. A bill to amend title XVIII of the Social Security act to enhance the access of Medicare beneficiaries who live in medically underserved areas to critical primary and preventive health care benefits to improve the Medicare+ Choice program. Introduced March 18 by Sen. Olympia Snowe (R-ME), referred to the Committee on Finance.
