The following bills were introduced in the House: H.R. 3423. A bill to amend the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act with respect to medical device user fees. Introduced July 27 by Rep. Joseph R. Pitts (R-PA) and referred to the Committee on Energy and Commerce. H.R. 3425. A bill to amend title 38 of the United States Code, to require mandatory HIV testing of potential sources in the event of possible occupational exposure to HIV in a Department of Veterans Affairs medical facility. Introduced July 27 by Rep. Tom Tancredo  (R-CO) and referred to the Committee on Veterans' Affairs.
