A bill to amend the Public Health Service Act to provide for the public disclosure of charges for certain hospital and ambulatory surgical center services and drugs. Introduced June 30 by Rep. Dan Lipinski (D-IL) and referred to the Committee on Energy and Commerce. H.R. 3151. A bill to amend part D of title XVIII of the Social Security Act to remove the exclusion of benzodiazepines from required coverage under the Medicare prescription drug program. Introduced June 30 by Rep. Benjamin L. Cardin (D-MD) and referred to the Committee on Energy and Commerce. H.R. 3161. A bill to amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act to provide for coverage under part B for medically necessary dental procedures. Introduced June 30 by Rep. Michael Ferguson (R-NJ) and referred to the Committee on Energy and Commerce.
