A bill to amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act to provide Medicare beneficiaries with access to information concerning the quality of care provided by skilled nursing facilities and to provide incentives to skilled nursing facilities to improve the qualify of care provided by those facilities by linking the amount of payment under the Medicare program to qualify reporting and performance requirements. Introduced April 5 by Sen. Ron Wyden (D-OR), referred to the Committee on Finance.
 
S. 717. A bill to amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act to provide coverage for kidney disease education services under the Medicare program. Introduced April 6 by Sen. Blanche Lincoln (D-AR), referred to the Committee on Finance.
