The following bills were introduced in the House: HR. 1016. A bill to amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act to clarify payment for clinical laboratory tests furnished by critical access hospitals under the Medicare program. Introduced March 1 by Rep. Butch Otter (R-ID), referred to the Committee on Energy and  Commerce and the Committee on Ways and Means. HR. 1052. A bill to amend titles XVIII and XIX of the Social Security Act to provide for coverage under the Medicare and Medicaid programs of incontinence under garments. Introduced March 2 by Rep. Barney Frank (D-MA), referred to the Committee on Energy and Commerce and the Committee on Ways and Means. HR. 1125. A bill to amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act to eliminate discriminatory copayment rates for outpatient psychiatric services. Introduced March 3 by Rep. Ted Strickland (D-OH), referred to the Committee on Energy and Commerce and the Committee on Ways and Means.
