H.R. 3189. A bill to amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act and the Employee Retirement income Security Act of 1974 to improve access to health insurance and Medicare benefits for individuals ages 55 to 65 to be fully funded through premiums and anti-fraud provisions, to amend title XIX of the Social Security Act to provide financial assistance for those individuals who are too poor to afford the premiums. Introduced Sept. 25 by Rep. Frank Pallone (D-NJ), referred to the Committee on Ways and Means, the Committee on Energy and Commerce, and the Committee on Education and the Workforce.

H.R. 3194. A bill to amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act to improve access to diabetes self-management training by designating certified diabetes educators recognized by the National Certification Board of Diabetes Educators as certified providers for purposes of outpatient diabetes education services under Part B of the Medicare program. Introduced Sept. 25 by Rep. Curt Weldon (R-PA), referred to the Committee on Energy and Commerce and the Committee on Ways and Means.

S. 1647. A bill to amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act to provide for direct access to audiologists for Medicare beneficiaries. Introduced Sept. 24. by Sen. Ben Nighthorse Campbell (R-CO), referred to the Committee on Finance.
