Question: Can different MDS assessments have overlapping assessment reference periods?
Answer: Yes. If you set the Medicare 5-day MDS assessment reference date on day 7, for example, and the Medicare 14-day MDS' ARD on day 11, then the opportunity does exist for capturing some of the same information on both MDS assessments.
