Approximately 85% of nursing homes in the United States have adopted person-centered care, to some degree, according to Dr. Linda Hermer, PhD, a senior research scientist at the Leading Age Center for Applied Research.
But even facilities that have been enthusiastic about person-centered reforms in years past may need to fine-tune their approach to meet the new survey requirements.
