A facility may request informal dispute resolution for each survey that cites deficiencies, according to a new Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services memo.
The table to the right indicates when facilities may request IDR based on the results of a revisit or as a result of the previous IDR outcome.
A facility may not request a re-review of a previous IDR decision, says CMS.
