Alabama Subscriber Answer: No, provisional tic syndrome is synonymous with transient tic disorder, which you’d code with F95.0 (Transient tic disorder). The ICD-10 code for Tourette’s disorder is F95.2 (Tourette’s disorder). If the notes indicate that the patient suffered from Tourette’s syndrome, combined vocal and multiple motor tic disorder, or de la Tourette’s disorder, you’d also select F95.2.
