Hospices new to the Medicare program aren’t exactly getting a warm welcome from one HHH Medicare Administrative Contractor. Palmetto GBA has dropped its “Hospice Services in SNF” and “Live Discharges” topics from its active medical review list for hospices. But it has added “New Providers” as its sole medical review topic in the hospice category.
