Hospices Must Wait A While Longer For TPE Results
Home health agencies are getting some vital Targeted Probe & Educate info from HHH Medicare Administrative Contractor CGS, including that 80 percent of reviewed providers flunked their first round. But hospices are going to have to wait a while longer for similar information. “Currently not enough Hospice providers have completed Round 1 to report Hospice progress,” CGS says in its recently posted TPE update at www.cgsmedicare.com/hhh/pubs/news/2018/0518/cope7655. But with the latest Targeted Probe & Educate review results not looking good for other provider types, now may be the time to learn more about the program.
