Hospice Surveys, GIP Feature In OIG Semiannual Report

The HHS Office of Inspector General hasn’t overlooked hospices in its latest semiannual report to Congress. The watchdog agency knocked CMS for not surveying hospices frequently enough and questioned hospices’ use of General Inpatient Care — both on the high and low sides.
