Hospices announced recent mergers and acquisitions. In Nevada: Nathan Adelson Hospice, the largest non profit hospice in the state, is acquiring Kindred Hospice in Southern Nevada, Las Vegas-based Nathan Adelson says in a release. Kindred Hospice is owned by Kindred Healthcare. In Pennsylvania: Pennsylvania Hospice Holdings has acquired Taylor Hospice in Ridley Park for undisclosed terms, reports The Delaware County Times. "We are thrilled to be expanding into the Delaware County and Philadelphia market through our transaction with Taylor Hospice," said Taylor Hospice President David Glick. PAH also owns Willow Tree Hospice in Kennett Square and Asana Hospice and Palliative Care in Harrisburg, the newspaper says. Taylor Hospice serves 300 to 400 patients annually. In Ohio: Columbus, Ohio-based Stonehenge Partners Inc. has acquired Queen City Hospice and Capital City Hospice, reports Columbus Business First. The hospices operate in the Cincinnati and Columbus/Central Ohio markets, respectively. "This business will serve as Stonehenge's platform investment in the hospice industry," says Footprint Capital in a release.
