Problem: CGS saw file rejections for the HICN number on Mon. July 3 through July 5, 2017, prior to 9 a.m. EST for Part A and home health and hospice providers, the MAC tells providers.
Solution: “If you received rejection Claim Status Codes (CSC) 164: Entity Contract/member number, CSC 188: Statement from-through dates, you will need to resubmit your files for processing,” the MAC instructs.
