Don't delay in addressing this pressing billing and compliance issue. Customize this sample letter to contact referring physicians about the PECOS requirements. "Due to regulatory changes, all physicians who have not enrolled and approved and listed in PECOS or opted out of Medicare will not be able to order or refer Medicare patients for home health services or Durable Medical Equipment effective July 6, 2010.
