Let Your MAC Communicate With Your Billing Companies

Prepare ahead of time by designating the billing company on your enrollment form. You must keep your patients' protected health information out of the wrong hands, but that doesn't mean you can't share necessary and relevant information with a billing company if you choose to use one Sample scenario: You receive a denial from your MAC, but you are unclear about the service code on the explanation of benefits (EOB).
