Payment Glitch Holds Up Palmetto Providers' Pay

If Palmetto is your Medicare contractor and you have claims suspending in status and location SMDLTD with reason codes 30723, 31424, 31548, and 31549, you aren't alone. CMS "is aware of this issue and we are awaiting a fix," Palmetto reports on its website. The errors apply to claims submitted after July 6.
