Updated Manual Contains Specs For Hospice Visit Measures

Make sure you are using the updated version of the Hospice Quality Reporting Program Quality Measure User’s Manual. “Version 3.00 of the HQRP QM User’s Manual is now available for download in PDF format,” the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services says in a Jan. 14 post to its website. “The measure specifications for Hospice Visits when Death is Imminent Measure 1 and Measure 2 are included in this new version” (see related story, p. 21). A link to download the manual is in the “Downloads” box at the bottom of www.cms.gov/Medicare/Quality-Initiatives-Patient-Assessment-Instruments/Hospice-Quality-Reporting/Current-Measures.html.
