LHC-Lifepoint Venture Makes Buys In 2 States

A joint venture by LHC Group and LifePoint Health have purchased and will share share ownership of home health agencies Guardian Home Health in Hickory, North Carolina, and Commonwealth Home Health Care in Danville, Virginia, LHC says in a release. Both acquisitions will affiliate with local LifePoint hospitals. The LHC-LifePoint joint venture has grown from 20 home health and 10 hospice locations, to 33 home health, 14 hospice, and one home and community based services locations over two years, the Baton Rouge, Louisiana-based chain says.
