A small claims processing glitch has finally been resolved

A small claims processing glitch has finally been resolved after more than a year. From June 3 to June 17, 2009, some claims received remittance advices (RAs) that didn't identify the patient. The problem caused the associated requests for anticipated payment (RAPs), claims and adjustments to get stuck in the fiscal intermediary shared system (FISS), Cahaba GBA explains. Cahaba and RHHI Palmetto GBA are recreating the RAs for these claims, they report. You'll need to download the new RAs, Cahaba instructs affected HHAs.
