Trade Group's LGBTQ+ Resource Guide Aims To Improve Care
If your hospice is looking for help to improve your services to LGBTQ+ patients, a new tool may help. The National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization is offering a 15-page LGBTQ+ Resource Guide. “The topics covered in the resource guide include LGBTQ+ healthcare disparities, serving LGBTQ+ patients in your community, and strategies for reaching out to LGBTQ+ communities,” the trade group says in a release. “With a strong foundation and the support of resources like this LGTBQ+ resource guide, we hope all hospices and palliative care providers will provide the best care possible to LGBTQ+ patients and families,” NHPCO President and CEO Edo Banach says in the release.
