Take A Look At Your Latest VBP Numbers From Medicare
Recalculation requests are due by May 15. The clock is ticking down to the time for your payment rates to get adjusted by your Value-Based Purchasing stats. Check out the freshest data in the newly released Preliminary April 2024 Interim Performance Report. The new IPRs for the expanded Home Health VBP Model are in the Internet Quality Improvement and Evaluation System (iQIES), the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services says in an April 30 message to providers. “The quarterly IPRs provide HHAs with the cohort assignment, performance year measure data for the 12 most recent months, and interim Total Performance Score (TPS),” CMS details. Do this: “Using the IPR, an HHA can assess and track their performance relative to peers in their respective cohort throughout the ... performance year,” CMS explains. And this: If you seek a correction to your April 2024 IPR, HHAs must submit a recalculation request by May 15, CMS instructs.
