Industry Notes:

Southeast Chain Makes Tennessee Buy

Five Points Healthcare has entered the Tennessee market with an acquisition. Atlanta-based Five Points has bought Nashville-based Wil-lowbrook Health Systems. Willowbrook is a Medi-care-certified home health and hospice provider throughout middle Tennessee, Five Points says in a release.

Five Points, founded in 2011, owns and operates home health and hospice locations in Louisiana, Tennessee and Virginia, the company says in the release. “Five Points Healthcare was founded with a vision to become the premier provider of home health and hospice services throughout the southeast,” it adds.

Fulcrum Equity Partners provided financing for the acquisition, Five Points says. It’s the fourth Five Points acquisition funded by Fulcrum.

Earlier this year, Five Points acquired BestCare Home Care, a home health provider in Virginia, reports the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
