Add retirement communities to the crowded home health marketplace. Senior living facilities are eager to branch into the home care arena, either to serve their own residents or serve as an entry point for eventual new ones.
Case in point: Williamsburg Landing in James City, Va., has partnered with advisory firm Senior Options to launch its own home care unit, the organizations say in a release. “Williamsburg Landing’s strategy is to improve the continuum of care that our residents have access to and strengthen their ability to remain in their homes for as long as possible,” the company says.
