Review Choice Demo Contractor To Become Quicker On The Draw With PCR Resubmissions

Start date for sixth state is almost here. As the Review Choice Demonstration expands, one aspect will become more favorable to participating home health agencies. Reminder: RCD is starting in Oklahoma on Dec. 1. “Palmetto GBA will be changing the resubmission processing time from 20 business days to 10 business days effective December 1, 2023, for all HH RCD states” for pre-claim review requests, the HHH Medicare Administrative Contractor says in a new post to its website. “This is an internal change that will not impact the way providers submit their resubmissions,” Palmetto adds. “The processing time for initial submissions will remain 10 business days,” the MAC confirms.
