INDUSTRY NOTES:

Provider Relief Fund Reporting Deadline Of Feb. 15 Stands, Despite Gray Areas Introduced By COVID Relief Law

As home health and hospice agencies await clarifications on top of the Provider Relief Fund clarifications passed as part of the latest COVID-19 relief package, the deadline for PRF reporting looms.

Remember: “The HHS PRF reporting system is scheduled to open on January 15 with the first report due February 15, 2021,” remind attorneys with Hall Render in online analysis. “A final report is due for most recipients on July 31, 2021. The Act does not include any delay or modification to this reporting schedule.”

The most pressing issue may be how to calculate lost revenues and whether recent clarifications on fundraising revenues are negated by the new law (see HCW by AAPC, Vol. XXX, No. 1). At press time, the Small Business Administration had issued no additional guidance on the issue in the wake of the new law.
