Prepare For Star Ratings This Summer With New Info

Curious for more information on your upcoming star rating from Medicare? The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has posted a transcript and audio recording of its Special Open Door Forum on the topic last month.

Reminder: CMS plans to launch the star ratings this summer, it confirmed in the forum (see Eli’s HCW, Vol. XXIV, No. 7). About half of agencies are estimated to fall into the 3- or 3.5-star category, out of 5.
