Pony Up More Than $500 For Revalidation,Enrollment

The paperwork headache isn’t the only pain involved with a revalidation request. Institu-tional providers — pretty much any provider that’s not a physician or physician practice-affiliated — must submit an application fee or hardship exception when initially enrolling, revalidating their enrollment; or adding a new Medicare location, notes HHH Medicare Administrative Contractor National Government Services in a message to providers.
In 2015, a fee of $553 is required with any Medicare enrollment application submitted 1/1/ 2015 through 12/31/2015, NGS instructs.
