Medicare’s Care Compare website has some new information on it. “The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) updated Medicare Care Compare to include doctor and clinician facility affiliation information” for providers including home health and hospice agencies, CMS says in a message to providers.

The update “provides additional information to support patients and caregivers as they make healthcare decisions” and “creates additional quality information linkages between clinicians and facilities across Care Compare pages,” CMS says.

Medicare rolled its separate Compare pages into one Care Compare tool toward the end of 2020, and has added information to other Care pages more recently.
