After marching in a picket line while on strike, PeaceHealth home health and hospice nurses in Eugene and Springfield, Ore., have voted to ratify a new four-year contract, the health system reports in a statement.
The agreement comes after 16 months of negotiations between home health and hospice nurses at PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Home Care Services and the system. The contract increases wages up to 16 percent over its term and raises pay for nurses with advanced degrees and skills, says the Oregon Nurses Association.
